  1.  Oats dosa

Oats also have very less fat and are therefore, an excellent option for weight loss. You can make oats dosa at home for breakfast or lunch. It doesn’t require much effort.

Ingredients needed: Half cup of quick cooking oats, ¼ cup of rice flour, ¼ cup of rava or sooji, half cup of fresh curd and finely chopped vegetables of your choice.

Method: Grind half a cup of quick cooking oats to fine flour. Take this flour in a mixing bowl. Add ¼ cup of rice flour and ¼ cup of rava to it. Next, add half a cup of fresh curd and water to get a mixture of flowing consistency. It should not be very thin or very thick. Add all the finely chopped vegetables to this mixture. Add some salt and pepper for taste. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle ½ tsp of oil and spread it with a spoon. You can also use butter in place of oil if you like but very little. Pour the mixture on the pan and cook it on a medium flame. Flip and cook the dosa on both the sides. You can have this with coconut chutney or sambar.

  • Besan chilla (Gram flour dosa)

Besan or gram flour is rich in proteins and has very less calories. It has lots of vitamins and minerals. Gram flour promotes weight loss as it contains low levels of fat. You can make besan chilla at home for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is super easy to prepare and you can also have it as an evening snack.

Ingredients needed: 1 cup of besan (gram flour), finely chopped vegetables of your choice, water, turmeric, salt and some healthy spices.

Method: Take the gram flour in a mixing bowl, add all the finely chopped vegetables, salt and spices. Add some water and mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth flowing consistency. Break the lumps if you see any while mixing the batter. Heat a non-stick pan and spread some oil on it. Pour the batter and make sure to cook it on a low flame. Flip it and cook the other side also. Cook until you see golden spots on chilla.

  • Finger millet dosa (Ragi dosa or Nachni dosa)

Ragi is really amazing for fast weight loss and one of the most nutritious foods. It is rich in carbohydrates, protein, fibre and calcium. Ragi has very less fat which makes it perfect for weight loss. You can prepare finger millet dosa or ragi dosa instantly at home. It just takes a few minutes to prepare the batter.

Ingredients needed: 1 cup of ragi flour, half cup of rice flour, water, salt and 1 small cup of curd.

Method:  Take ragi flour, rice flour and curd in a bowl. Add some salt and pour water as needed in order to make a batter of thin consistency. Leave it aside for 10 minutes. You can add finely chopped coriander leaves, chillies and ginger for taste. Heat a non-stick pan and add some butter or oil. Pour the batter when the pan is hot enough. Cook it on a medium flame. Flip and let it cook on the other side also.

  • Veggie omelette

Veggie omelette is really very easy to make. You just have to load it with as many vegetables as possible. Use only the egg whites to make the omelette for a fast weight loss. Egg whites have around 90% water and 10% protein.

Ingredients needed: Vegetables of your choice, 4 eggs and salt.

Method: Take a bowl and add the finely chopped vegetables in it. Add the whites from all the four eggs. Add some salt and finely chopped coriander for the taste. Mix all the ingredients well. Heat a non-stick pan and add some butter or oil. Pour the mixture on it and cook until the center of the omelette looks dry.
